Scholarship Programs

HOLY CHILD College of Davao is committed to making quality education accessible to deserving students, who show a genuine passion to pursue and finish their studies. Scholarships, privileges, discounts and financial aid programs are available to those who are in need of financial assistance.

Guidelines:

The Scholarships and Privileges/Discounts are applicable for only one academic year (one semester for college) and covers TUITION FEES only.
Applicants must avail of ONLY ONE type of HOLY CHILD’s – Sponsored Scholarship or Privilege Program.
Applicants who are availing of a government scholarship grant will only be granted a Holy Child Scholarship discount net of the government discount on the Tuition Fee only.
5% FULL PAYMENT discount cannot be availed on top of another scholarship or privilege.
Applicants must apply online and upload complete requirements as set by the ,Scholarships and Privileges Committee.
Applications will only be accepted during the period specified by HOLY CHILD Scholarships and Privileges Committee.

Application Period:

Preschool – Junior High School Application Period: May 23 - June 30,2022 only

Senior High School & College Application Period: July 4 – August 4, 2022 only

HOLY CHILD – SPONSORED SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

R1. Academic Scholarship (for Basic Ed)

For incoming Grade 2 and Grade 7 students
Top 1 and Top 2 graduates from a batch of at least 35 students
To avail of this scholarship in succeeding year levels, the student should maintain Top 1 (for Top1 grant) or Top 2 (for Top 2 grant) and an average of 95% and above with no grade below 88%
Must also win at least 1 inter-school academic contest yearly (Suspended)

Benefits:

• Full scholarship on TUITION FEE for TOP 1

• Half scholarship on TUITION FEE for TOP 2

Requirements:

For New Students, clear copy of the Certificate of Graduation from previous school indicating the honors received, overall ranking and total number of graduates
For Holy Child students, Certification from the office of the Registrar, indicating your rank.

HOLY CHILD – SPONSORED PRIVILEGES

R2. Multiple Intelligence Scholarship/Privilege

Granted to non-top1 and top 2 students who competed in any kind of

academic competition, sports, arts & music, etc., who bags 1st place.

Benefit/s:

Within City Competition – 50% discount on TUITION FE
Regional Competition – 75% discount on TUITION FEE
National Competition – 100% discount on TUITION FEE
International Competition – 100% discount on TUITION FEE plus allowance

Requirements:

Certificate received during the competition
Clear copy of PSA Birth Certificate

R3. Alumni Privilege

Granted to children of Alumnus/Alumna (parents who have completed

Elementary, High School and/or College at HOLY CHILD College of Davao).

Benefit/s:

15% discount on TUITION FEE

Requirements:

Recommendation from the Office of School Registrar indicating the name of the child to be enrolled this school year

R4. Tubong Holy Child Privilege

For incoming Grade 7, 11, and First-Year College students who have been with

HOLY CHILD since Preschool or Grade 1 who opted to enroll in

HOLY CHILD the succeeding year, and awardee of Tubong HOLY CHILD.

Benefit:

10% discount on TUITION FEE

R5. Patronage Privilege

SK, Grade 6, 10, or 12 graduates of HOLY CHILD who opted to enroll in

HOLY CHILD the succeeding year

For incoming Grade 1, 7, 11, and First-Year college students who are completers/graduates of the HOLY CHILD College of Davao

5% discount on TUITION FEE

R6. Siblings Privilege

For families with two or more children enrolled in HOLY CHILD College

of Davao

Benefits:

• 5% TUITION FEE discount on 2nd – 4th child

• 6% TUITION FEE discount on 5th - 7th child

• 7% TUITION FEE discount on 8th – 10th child

For students who are ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED and currently enrolled in their 1st to 3rd year College with a minimum of 15 units load.
